Sooooo, it’s been a minute

Partly because I’ve been sick, and partly because I’ve been having trouble logging into my account. Six of one, half dozen of the other. Well, as you can see, I solved the second one because here I am. As for the first, well… I’m still sick — the whole chronic thing — but I’m better. ^_^

This has happened before. When I lived in WA I got so bad that I considered getting a wheelchair. My doctor back then even wrote a prescription for one, and I was this close [–] to getting a handicap placard for my car. It didn’t get that bad this time, but damn, I have not been feeling well.

Fatigue, y’all. Fatigue and vague, all over body pain. It’s really difficult to explain to anyone who’s never felt it, but let’s just say that I don’t have the energy to do anything. Like, anything. Most days, I drag myself out of bed to let the dogs out and feed them and that’s it. I’m done for the day. It’s been seven months, y’all. And other than a good day now and again, that’s been my life. (sad face)

But, here we are. I’m alive and kicking (albeit weakly), and hopefully I can get back into the swing of things. Everything else around here has been… moving along. Doug’s health has been rocky too, but he’s also feeling better. So here’s to hoping we both keep going forward.

Anyway, that’s it for now. I’m trying to be all “less is more” when it comes to these posts. thanks for listening and take care.

Edited to add: Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. I’ve also been busy writing a book. Ha! How could I forget that??? >_< Like, I have to do something while I’m sitting in this chair, right? It’s coming along slowly, and I might share more of it as I go along. Let me know if you’re interested.

Welcome, welcome, welcome.

Come on in and make yourself at home. My place is small, but I try to keep it tidy. Ignore the dust in the corners and the dog hair under the furniture. Just push those clothes aside…

Want a drink? I’ve got… uh… water. But it’s sparkling water. ^_^
